Kids' Chance of Utah

UBIC is excited to announce the creation of the Utah chapter of Kids’ Chance of

America. Kids’ Chance of America is a nonprofit that awards scholarships to children who have had a parent injured or killed at work. This hits home for those of us at UBIC and we wanted to help.

Kids’ Chance was founded in 1988 by a workers’ comp attorney from Georgia. He saw the devastation that workplace injuries could cause to the families of the injured workers and he set out to make a change. With help from his fellow attorneys, he created Kids’ Chance and started raising money for scholarships. The fledgling organization reached out to nearby states and helped them set up their own. This gradually spread across the country and now nearly every state has a chapter of their own. In 2007, Kids’ Chance of America was formally incorporated to support and assist the chapters and organizations across the nation.

Currently, there is a Kids’ Chance chapter in all three states UBIC writes in. To donate or get involved, please use the links below to find your local chapter.
